The apprentice will work in the CHC Team. This is a team that is made up of Nurse Assessors and CHC admin. The function of the team is to undertake CHC assessments which determine if someone is eligible for health funding. It is a very process driven service and would provide an apprentice with a lot of administrative experience. They would also benefit from joining an established team.

The CHC Admin Apprenticeship will work alongside the CHC admin team and the clinical lead in the CHC Team. They will undertake administrative duties, including: answering phone calls, scanning documents, booking appointments, data entry, panel preparation, sending and replying to emails and the typing up of outcome letters.

The apprentice should be wiling to learn and be able to work as part of team and on their own initiative. They should have a good work ethic and be presentable.
