Educational Psychology Service

Job Location: Education Development Centre, Spennymoor, DL16 6YP. However, you may be required to work at any council workplace within County Durham.

Salary: Soulbury Scale A Points 2 to 7 (plus SPA points) £37,545 - £51,411

Durham Educational Psychology Service is a highly valued and expanding service located across 4 Locality EP Teams. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic colleagues with good interpersonal and communication skills to join the Educational Psychology Service in Durham. You would be joining a Service that provides a wide range of interventions and projects within schools and Early Years Settings within a vibrant SEND and Inclusion Service in a range of psychology led multidisciplinary teams.

You will need a first degree in Psychology and a recognised post graduate doctorate qualification in Educational Psychology or will have this qualification in September 2019 and be able to meet the requirements for registration with the Health Care Professions Council.

We offer an induction package and supervision as well peer support and opportunities to work into range of projects and specialist areas. We have a commitment to supporting staff to follow their own professional interests and have a strong programme of continuing professional development.

Own transport or means of mobility essential as you will be required to travel around the Local Authority.
