We now have the opportunity to recruit a care assistant to join our team at 22 Levick Court. We are looking for someone who has great communication skills, has initiative and is hard working, working in a social care environment it is imperative to be caring, compassionate and able to work as part of a team as well as independently. You also have to be able to follow instructions and be reliable. Candidates must also be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and work collaboratively to deliver person centered services. We provide both respite and residential care for adults with learning disabilities with a varied range of care needs. We are looking for a person who can deliver excellent care to a diverse service user group.

Key duties of the post will include:

Providing the highest quality person centred care service

Be committed to a customer led service

Have the ability to plan, assess, monitor and problem solve

Complete administrative duties and use the councils IT systems as required

The successful candidate will be committed to the continuing development of Learning Disability Care services. It is desirable that applicants have experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities; the successful applicant will need to be committed to the values of Middlesbrough.

Applicants will be expected to participate in the agreed working rota which includes mornings, evenings, weekends, waking nights and bank holidays as required.
