Applications are invited for the post of Cash Team Assistant. The successful post holder will work as part of a team dealing with petty cash, seized cash, found cash, and associated processes. You will manage physical and banked cash on behalf of the Force and to ensure the Force is clear and transparent in its handling of income, petty, seized and found cash.

The Cash Team Assistant role primarily deals with cash handling and the associated processes. These processes will include maintenance of computer and paper records, monitoring seized bank accounts, liaising with the public and Police Officers. The role also requires working with other agencies such as the Bank of England, the National Crime Agency and other financial institutions. In addition, there is inter-force working, liaising with specialist units and departments to drive PoCA and Forfeiture requirements.
