Class Teacher on a Fixed Term Contract from September 2024 - August 2025 (Maternity Cover)
 
Permanent Teaching Vacancy to start as soon as possible.


We are looking for someone who has

• responsibility for the teaching and learning of a group of children with a range of SEN needs

• excellent communication with the parents/carers of these children, and
have good interpersonal skills

• experience of working within, and leading, a team

• enhance their understanding and knowledge of SEN through experience or research

• a working understanding of the SEN code of practice and paperwork
associated with this

• resilience and a sense of humour

• the desire and ability to make a difference to the lives of children with
SEN


About the role:

• You will actively engage with your class team to ensure that children’s
learning experiences are: thoughtful and well planned.

• Resourced to support pupils to be as independent as possible in their
learning within a well thought out and organised learning environment .

• Engaging and thought provoking, connected to other learning experiences. Supporting core skills of communication, reading, writing
and numeracy, reflected upon the learners so they can see the progress they are making

• Communicate to families so they can actively engage at home.


Who are we looking for…

To achieve this you will need to be passionate, enthusiastic, driven and ready for a challenge. You will work closely with your class team to deliver the whole curriculum as well as supporting pupils in their holistic development.

Experience..

Subject knowledge and resourcing the whole curriculum, as well as removing barriers to learning, is an essential part of the role of Specialist Teacher.

The class group/Key Stage is to be confirmed following the interview.
