We are seeking to appoint a Complaints and Information Governance Officer, who will be responsible for managing the complaints investigation procedures in relation to Adults and Childrens Social Care.

As Complaints and Information Governance Officer you will co-ordinate responses to requests relating to Freedom of Information, Data Subject Access and Environmental Impact Regulations for Adults and Childrens Services.

As the successful candidate you will have excellent organisational skills and experience of undertaking complex investigations relating to Adults and Children’s Social Care and be able to analyse and accurately record and report on the findings so as to learn lessons, manage risks and identify opportunities to improve outcomes. You will be able to deal with matters with discretion and integrity, initiative and innovation.

With a strong academic background and an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy you will have a detailed knowledge of Adults Social Care, Children’s Social care and of regulatory complaints systems, information governance and security legislation.
