Hours 37hrs FT

We are looking to appoint a Course Leader to join our Carpentry and Joinery department at Redcar and Cleveland College, who will assist in driving the department towards “Outstanding” provision.

Redcar and Cleveland College is a vibrant forward looking college that is graded Good by Ofsted across all aspects of its provision, we are proud to serve our local community by helping people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to reach their full potential.

You will have oversight of the Carpentry and Joinery area, and deliver and assess a variety of applied theoretical and practical elements (Levels 1 – 3) of site carpentry and bench joinery to our apprentices, full time and part time students.

You will be required to provide a supportive and professional environment that will aid the development of individual and groups of learners. You will be expected to be organised with excellent time management and administrative skills, have the ability to build positive relationships, displaying excellent communication, organisational skills and demonstrating a flexible and professional attitude.
