An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums Art Galleries team. We are seeking to recruit two temporary Customer Service Officers who will deliver a high-quality visitor experience during the Lindisfarne Gospels Exhibition.

Reporting to the Customer and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising front of house staff to ensure excellent customer service, for day-to-day operations; health and safety procedures; building management and security. You will support the delivery of our retail offer, catering provision and the management of events and corporate hire, alongside our existing management team.

You must have management and customer care experience, preferably in a high-volume customer-facing environment. You will possess good organisational and communication skills, and be able to motivate a team of staff.

Successful candidates will work to a rota, which includes regular rostered weekends and will be required to support some evening hours and possible out-of-hour responses.
