Marine Park is a purpose built, PFI School on an extensive and attractive coastal site in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. The school is the largest First School in North Tyneside, currently attracting and serving 520 pupils from a wide catchment.

The Governors of this successful, large, friendly and happy First School invite applications for the post of teacher. We are seeking to appoint teachers to work as part of our team, contribute to the outstanding education, safety, welfare, wellbeing, happiness and behaviour that we strive to achieve for the pupils at school. One of the posts is permanent; one is temporary (fixed term for 1 year in the first instance). The successful applicant will be required to teach in Key Stage 1 or 2.

The post will commence in September 2018 and would be suitable for newly, recently qualified or experienced teachers.

The successful applicant will have:
• Exemplary classroom practitioner skills
• High expectations of pupils and be fully committed to raising standards for all pupils, whatever their needs
• Commitment to promoting excellence and enjoyment within the school community
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire
• The ability to contribute to the monitoring and development of a curriculum area

There are two posts available, one post is permanent and the other post is fixed term for one year.
