An opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker with experience/an interest in safeguarding to join the Adult Safeguarding Team as a Senior Social Worker. The Safeguarding Team provides operational advice to the area social work teams as well as being involved in strategic work for the Safeguarding Adults Board(SAB). The Senior Social Worker will be based in a community office and be part of the area teams which comprise a Team Manager, Lead Practitioners, Social Workers, Community Well-being Officers and Financial Assessment Officers. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in our new model of working in North Tyneside which is underpinned by an asset based approach.
We’re launching a state of the art case recording system with full agile working. You’ll have brand new IT kit to enable you to work from any community location and from home. As part of this we’re streamlining all administrative processes, maximising the time you spend with people, not paperwork.
