NEAT Academy Trust - Central Team is seeking to appoint a Data & Information Governance Technician to support the provision of high quality and professional data services to all staff and students within our Trust.
Reporting to the Data & Information Governance Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in collating, formatting, and presenting data, ensuring accuracy, and assisting in the development and improvement of data systems and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development and maintenance of our information governance framework. You will work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to policies, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, DPIA).
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- Experience of analysing and interpreting education performance data.
- Experience of working with data analysis tools and software to interrogate data and produce reports for a variety of audiences.
- Excellent attention to details to ensure data is accurate.
- Reasoning skills and ability to interpret information.
- Support data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with incident response related to data breaches and security incidents.
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
