Newcastle City Council Revenues, Benefits & Exchequer Team is undergoing major transformation and we are implementing leaner operating models and we are looking to recruit an experienced officer to join our successful and dynamic team.

As a Debt Recovery Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team responsible for sundry debt collection and for designing processes and procedures to support staff and customer demands. You will be expected represent the Council at court and also work with internal and external customers to resolve complex queries. Therefore, excellent customer services skills together with in depth knowledge and experience in sundry debt recovery is essential for this role.

You will also require excellent communication skills and have the ability to facilitate training and briefing sessions to support staff with ongoing learning and through periods of change at the Council.
