St. Bernadette’s Primary School is part of St. Hilda’s Catholic Academy Trust and we are charged with the mission of educating each child as a whole person ensuring that they are cared for in such a way that their physical, moral and intellectual talents may develop in a harmonious manner.

We are looking for someone who:

- is a practising Catholic and has a clear understanding of the distinctive nature of our school and a
  deep commitment to Catholic education;
- is an outstanding teacher with experience across the primary phase and high expectations of achievement
  and behaviour;
- is committed to working in partnership with staff, governors, parents and pupils;
- has excellent management and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, challenge and inspire.

St Bernadette’s Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance check and a Section 128 check (Prohibition from Management of an independent school). The successful candidate will be required to sign a Catholic Education Contract. The post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009, as such shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a disqualification Declaration.
