The governors are looking to appoint for September 2022 an enthusiastic, highly motivated and skilled Deputy Headteacher to enhance the leadership and management of our successful school, working in partnership with our Headteacher.

The Deputy Headteacher will work with the Headteacher on curriculum innovation, support our staff to deliver the highest quality of education and our pupils to reach their full potential academically and emotionally, preparing them for the next phase of their education. We are looking for someone who can strategically lead the development of teaching and learning through an adventurous and ambitious curriculum.

Wylam First School is a successful and popular small, inclusive school, set in a beautiful semi-rural location. We have enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly pupils, together with dedicated and hardworking staff and governors. Wylam First School is proud to be part of the Tyne Community Learning Trust which comprises of six first schools, two middle schools and a high school, and we work closely with our partnership schools to provide the very best educational experience for all pupils.
