Lambton Primary School is able to offer an exciting opportunity. Following the promotion of our Deputy Head Teacher to a substantive headship role, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Deputy Head Teacher to help shape the future of this outstanding school (Ofsted 2008).

We are a highly inclusive school, with a strong set of values and high expectations. Our children are enthusiastic and willing learners. As our Deputy Head Teacher, you will provide strategic leadership across the school, working closely with the Head Teacher and newly appointed middle management to maintain the high standards in all aspects of teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will;
• Have experience of teaching and learning across the primary key stages.
• Have experience of leading, managing and developing a core curriculum subject and initiatives with an in-depth knowledge of the requirements of the new Curriculum.
• Have experience of impact on educational progress other than pupils in their assigned class and across the school.
• Have experience of driving forward initiatives which have had a direct impact on raising standards.
• Have experience of leading developing and enhancing the teaching practice of other staff
