The North East LEP leads on the development and delivery of the North East Strategic Economic Plan, aiming to drive more and better jobs across the region through innovation, business growth, skills and infrastructure delivery in our key areas of economic opportunity.

We seek a high calibre Digital Programme Lead to take forward our work with representatives from industry, with business networks and with research and education organisations of national and international standing to strengthen the profile of North East assets and capabilities regionally, nationally and internationally, and to support business growth and digital adaptation.

This post has two key aims; to strengthen co-ordination in the region working with a range of partners to foster growth in the North East digital sector through communications and project development, and to support North East based businesses to better understand and adopt technology.

You will have strong presentation skills, the capacity to network and exert influence at senior levels in public and private sectors, an ability to spot opportunities and experience of creating business cases for investment.
