An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Driver/Escort within the Transport Section, dealing with the transportation of children and vulnerable adults.
Duties will involve collecting children or vulnerable adults from their homes and transporting them to schools and various social care locations within the City, and returning them home safely.
Applicants must be able to undertake moving and handling of service users.
The posts will involve split-shifts, working:
Monday to Thursday: 7am to 9am and then 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Friday: 7am to 9am and then 2pm to 4pm.
There may be occasions when hours could be increased depending on the demands of the service. We would welcome applicants who could also work additional hours if the need arose.
