We are seeking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in our small rural school for 6 hours a week term time only, starting from the beginning of the Summer term.
Initially the hours will be 1.00 – 3.30 pm Wednesday and 1.00 – 4.30 pm Thursday. It is expected that hours could increase from September to include some one-to-one support of a child with SEND.
The Teaching Assistant will work with Nursery and Reception children in our Early Years Unit, mainly under the guidance of the Class teacher, but will also be responsible for looking after a small group of EYFS children for one hour a week after school.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced criminal records check is required for this post.
