The North of Tyne Combined Authority is seeking to recruit an experienced Economic Adviser to help develop policy and delivery, with a focus on the Tourism and Culture & Creative sectors. You will have the opportunity to shape major projects and be expected to think creatively and strategically to deliver outcomes.

The successful applicant will be responsible for shaping policy, developing and managing projects to support economic recovery, leading relationships with businesses and other external stakeholders, providing economic research and analysis, and influencing policy development.

The role is suitable for someone with considerable experience of delivering initiatives to help promote growth within the Tourism and Culture & Creative sectors and an excellent understanding of the shifting economic landscape. We require significant experience of partnership working, project management and an excellent understanding of the opportunities provided by Combined Authorities.
