NEW are currently recruiting Family Support Workers to its bank of practitioners.
NEW is a charity set up to help meet the well being of children and their families.
We offer a school family support service that is tailored to meet the demands and needs of the school and individual children and their families.
The service therefore works flexibly in order to provide the maximum support for development and progression.
The Family Support Worker is a lead professional role that is committed to providing and coordinating support to a family on a regular basis. Their role is to help the family identify and manage problems.
The main purpose of their work is to sustain positive changes by;
• Developing effective partnerships with children and parents
• Providing regular focused support
• facilitating interventions which improve parent capacity and family relationships
