Due to a restructure within Together for Children Sunderland Education Services, we have an opportunity to offer a part-time temporary post as Educational Psychologist to support interim arrangements up to December 31 2018.
The purpose of the role is to:
Make a significant contribution to the Together for Children-Sunderland strategic plan.
Apply psychological principles, theories and skills to fulfil all Statutory, core and additional responsibilities as determined by the Principal Educational Psychologist and strategic managers with children, young people and their families at the heart of all duties.
Provide a range of individual, group and organisation interventions in accordance with service demands in response to customer needs.
Be responsive to national SEND legislation, in particular, Children and Families Act 2014, Code of Practice 2014 and Equality Act 2010.
Contribute to strategic and systemic interventions in order to ensure success, and impact upon raising standards.
Develop effective working partnerships to support the objectives of the Educational Psychology Service.
This opportunity is for up to two and a half days per week.
