An outstanding catholic secondary school in Newcastle is working with First Class Supply to appoint an MFL Teacher to teach French to Key Stage 5 and German to Key Stage 3 on a full time basis. The position will begin in February 2018 to cover a Maternity leave until January 2019.
The pupils’ achievement and their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development are both outstanding, as a result they are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their life. The teachers give helpful advice during lessons about how to make further progress and give detailed and specific feedback in their marking of assessments. Much of the teaching at this school is outstanding and caters particularly well for their individual needs.
The school require a teacher who:
- is an outstanding practitioner with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils
- is enthusiastic and committed with vision, drive and commitment
- will secure excellent academic achievement for all students
- would relish working in a thriving school
- has recent experience / knowledge of teaching French up to Key Stage 5 and German up to Key Stage 3 within the UK National Curriculum
- holds a relevant teaching qualification and QTS.
