Hours: 37 hours per week, Full time, Temporary contract ending upon the return of the substantive post holder.
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR assistant to join the Human Resources team at Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust as soon as possible. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has great attention to detail, is organised, passionate and has an interest in working with people.
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust is a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England and will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive and growing team.
As an HR assistant you work closely with both the HR Advisory team as well as the HR Operations team and will support in providing high quality HR assistance and support to the schools within our Trust.
Ideally with previous experience of working in an administrative or support role, you will have enthusiasm for HR and a strong customer service ethos. This role involves a high level of interaction with a variety of people across the Trust therefore the ability to engage and maintain positive working relationships is vital along with strong interpersonal skills.
As an HR assistant you will be given the opportunity to experience both advisory and operational elements of HR.
