The Board of Trustee’s for Prosper Learning Trust are seeking to appoint an innovative Head of School, who is committed to the achievement of excellent outcomes for disadvantaged children who have a wide range of complex social, emotional and mental health needs.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will:
• Be an experienced inspirational leader who can shape and deliver our strategy whilst running the school on a day-to-day basis
• Have a passion for school improvement
• Has a clear strategic vision for teaching and learning
• Have the highest of expectations for all our students and a relentless focus on safeguarding
• Be robust in meeting the challenges of a changing educational landscape and increasingly complex needs
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the wider educational community.

Prosper Learning Trust was established in January 2018 with Newcastle Bridges School and Linhope PRU. We are striving to further build collaboration across the two schools, grow as a Multi Academy Trust whilst continuing to strengthen our relationships with schools outside the MAT for the benefit of our students.

The Head of School will be accountable to the Executive Head Teacher and will also be expected to work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership of the Trust to deliver school improvement.

The successful candidate will have significant pastoral experience in mainstream settings and have a deep understanding of social, emotional and mental health needs and their associated behaviours.
