3 x 18.5hrs post temporary until 31/3/2020 subject to return of the substantive postholders

If you have elderly friends and relatives you will understand the value they place on independence. This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to a valuable community service by providing care and support to service users within Harbour Lodge, Seaham.
The post requires candidates with the ability to develop excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate a common sense approach, be able to work on their own initiative and manage their own workloads, along with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, colleagues and external agencies.
Applicants must have relevant experience of caring in a personal or professional capacity.
Qualifications: • NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to achieve within a set timescale
- Structured career path including NVQ development;
- Guaranteed hours;
- Full training, equipment and uniform provided;
- Pension scheme;
- Physiotherapy service.
It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 7/10/2019.
The appointment for these posts will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced level check.
