We are looking for a motivated and committed Housing Manager. The role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced housing professional to play a key part in developing and delivering housing services for all vulnerable people.
On a strategic level, the role post holder will work closely with other key partners inside and outside of the Council such as Health, the Police, Social Care and the voluntary sector to deliver a holistic approach to services for vulnerable people within the context of the City’s Housing Strategy for Sunderland and the draft Sunderland Rough Sleeping and Homelessness Prevention Strategy.
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and will therefore be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
