First Class Supply are working with a school in North Tyneside to appoint a Humanities teacher to teach RE to Key Stage 3 and History to Key Stage 4. The position will begin in April 2018 until July 2018 and will be on a part time basis for three days per week.

This is a smaller than average sized secondary school. In this school senior and middle leaders work well as a team and are taking effective action to raise pupils’ outcomes.

To be successful in this role you must:
  • be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
  • have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
  • be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting so that all children make good or better progress
  • be able to inspire and motivate
  • be committed to raising achievement and standards
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent experience / knowledge of teaching RE up to Key Stage 3 and History up to Key Stage 4 within the UK National Curriculum.
