The Governing body of this extremely successful and proactive Primary School, set in rural Northumberland, seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our team from 1st September 2025 for a fixed term contract of 12 months.
We are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher who is passionate about ensuring the children in their class reach their full potential and who is keen to be part of a nurturing school. The successful applicant will:
- have experience of teaching within the Primary School age range. Recent experience of teaching in KS2 is essential.
- be able to demonstrate how they would promote the school ethos and enable children to become enthusiastic, resilient and successful learners
- put children first, with high expectations of children and a belief that all children can succeed
- be passionate about improving children’s learning and creating an exciting learning environment
- have a commitment to inclusion and be able to demonstrate this in practice
- be a good communicator and keen to take an active part in the life of the school
- plan flexibly and creatively to meet the needs of the pupils and use a wide range of assessment strategies (including teacher-pupil, peer and self-assessment) and has the ability to evidence strong pupil progress in KS2 in Maths and English

This post is a full-time temporary post and is open to experienced teachers.
