An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Welbeck Academy for two Lead Practitioners to enhance our KS2 teaching and learning.

This is a new role within the Trust. You will be an experienced KS2 teacher with a proven track record in KS2 outcomes. As a Lead Practitioner you will be an exemplar of teaching skills within the Academy and lead the improvement of teaching skills within KS2 to ensure the best possible progress for all children. This will involve working with senior staff to develop on-going training and development activities, observing and giving feedback to teachers to improve the quality of teaching and learning across the schools and providing one to one coaching to teachers to improve their practice.

The successful candidates will:

- Be a proven outstanding teacher
- Have experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues
- Have a flexible approach to their work
- Be able to give feedback to move another teacher’s practice on
- Experience of presenting or leading CPD
- Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the key principles of quality first teaching
- Past experience working with ITT students/ECT
- Have the vision and capacity to inspire and motivate children
- Be fully committed to working collaboratively and be an active, dedicated member of our team.
- Be able to show initiative and work independently.
- Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to raising standards of attainment and achievement for all children.
