Further Information
A Learning and Development Coordinator who can help us to make a difference - is that you?

Citizens Advice Gateshead is an independent local charity, and a member of the national Citizens Advice network. As a team of over 160 staff and 50+ volunteers, we punch above our weight locally and nationally, mobilising knowledge through the delivery of tangible social value, in many different guises, to thousands of people every year.

Our vision is a fair society for all, with lives well lived. As set out in our strategic plan, we aim to be an enduring and dynamic charity that never stands still until we have achieved this vision.

We are now recruiting a Learning and Development Coordinator

As a key member of the Commercial Team, the Learning and Development Coordinator will support the People Development Manager to implement our ambitious People Development Plans for the charity, our trading subsidiary Society Matters cic and the local community.

This new role will involve the coordination of participation in learning and development, learning materials and platforms and learning data, as well as supporting the overall People Development function associated with all aspects of learning and development, personnel and volunteering.

Does this sound like you...

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of coordinating the full training cycle within a learning and development environment; they will be able to demonstrate a creative flair, and hands-on experience of designing and developing innovative and engaging learning materials using the full spectrum of available media; and will have a proven ability to instil positive attitudes and outcomes associated with learning and development, removing perceived barriers to engagement.

If this sounds like you, please get in touch for an application pack to find out more about the charity, the role and how to apply.
