We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Counselling lecturer to teach across a range of courses including Access to Counselling, and the Foundation degree in Counselling. Candidates should possess a relevant degree, as well as a post-graduate qualification, and it would be desirable to be BACP accredited. You should have extensive experience of being a counselling practitioner and have a strong theoretical base in humanistic counselling.
You should also be a fully qualified lecturer with a successful track record of teaching counselling. You will be someone who can demonstrate exceptional teaching ability and you must have excellent communication and IT skills and be able to work as part of a team. You will be joining an extremely successful Access/Counselling team who prides itself with exceptionally high standards and the ability to create high quality learning experiences for their students.
