An opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer 2 in Sport for the Faculty of Sport, Health & Wellbeing. We are looking for an individual who is supportive, creative and innovative with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a sound understanding of current teaching and learning strategies and the ability to significantly drive the planned curriculum development and growth in Sport.
You should have achieved a degree in Sport and hold a teaching qualification. You will also have experience of delivering professional and technical qualifications in Sport and/or Sport and Exercise Sciences across a number of delivery streams and level.
For this post, applications are welcomed from candidates with vocationally relevant fitness industry qualifications, as well as those with a strong track record in teaching and learning. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate in their personal statement practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
