At West Newcastle Academy, we are looking for a number of minibus drivers to help take our children to locations outside of the school for their education needs and activities. At our school, all children spend two days a week outside – in the forest, at a museum, at the beach – and we need a number of minibus drivers to support taking our children and staff to these locations.
Hours will be on a varying basis dependent on the need of the school and will be arranged weekly in advance, with a minimum of 8 hours per week. A typical day may consist of 3 hours in total as a split shift: 9.30-11.00am for the morning drop off at a specific location and 1.30-3.00pm for the afternoon pick up and drop off at school.
You will need to have a full, clean driving licence and be willing to undertake additional MiDAS minibus training.
