Out of School Club Play Assistant Opportunity

Salary:Level C, SCP 4 (£18,426 per annum pro rata to hours worked)

Contract: 17.5 hour (7:45 am – 8:45 am - 3.00pm – 17:30pm), Term Time Only (38 weeks)


The Headteacher and Governing Body wish to appoint a committed, flexible and enthusiastic Play Assistant to join our inclusive and friendly out of hours provision. You will be required to work as part of a team, providing stimulating recreational activities and encouraging the individual development of children outside of the school day.

The successful candidate will:

• Have high standards and expectations for all children.
• The ability to encourage children’s learning and to support them to achieve their full potential.
• Be enthusiastic and an excellent role model to pupils.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to develop positive working relationships with children, staff and parents.
