Out of School Club Play Assistant Opportunity – Maternity Cover

Salary: SCP 5-6 £18,795 - £19,171 (actual salary £4,238.95 - £4323.75 PA)

Contract: 10 hours per week (15.00pm – 17:00pm), Term Time Only (38 weeks) required from 20th April 2020.

Required:

The Headteacher and Governing Body wish to appoint a committed, flexible and enthusiastic Play Assistant to join our inclusive and friendly out of hours provision. You will be required to work as part of a team, providing stimulating recreational activities and encouraging the individual development of children outside of the school day.

The successful candidate will:

• Have high standards and expectations for all children.
• The ability to encourage children’s learning and to support them to achieve their full potential.
• Be enthusiastic and an excellent role model to pupils.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to develop positive working relationships with children, staff and parents.
