The successful candidate will be working within the planned works department, as part of large painting team, working throughout the borough, based primarily from the Redcar area.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Property & Development Planned Works team, for a fully qualified and experienced Painter & Decorator. The working hours will be full time on winter/summer hours basis

The role will involve carrying out planned painting works to our property’s both internal & external to include all aspects of painting & decorating ranging from general small repairs to full decorations and re-paints.

This is an extremely varied role requiring a self-starter who has the ability to work alone or in a team. The individual must be flexible with a willingness to learn and a capacity to grow within a developing and progressive organisation. A full driving licence is essential for this post as the role involves driving the company vehicles. If you have a disability we will explore reasonable adjustments with you.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to possess an in depth knowledge of painting & decorating, experience of large scale external re-paints together with a thorough knowledge of all other aspects of the trade. A relevant NVQ qualification or equivalent with experience within the construction/housing industry or similar. You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety practices together with a customer focussed approach.
