We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Parent Support Advisor. The successful applicant will work closely with school staff, agencies and parents to improve the outcomes for our children and families.

This is a newly created post to start as soon as possible and the successful applicant will have a base within school.

The post is full time during term time with up to an additional 10 days during school holidays. The hours of the post are 9.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9.00am to 4.30pm (Friday) however the successful applicant must be flexible with their start and finish time to meet the needs of the post.

Essential Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification or above in a related discipline: health, education, youth work, social care & health or equivalent

Essential Experience:
At least 2 years post qualifying experience.
To be CAF trained and experienced in leading CAF’s.
Experience of working with families who have child(ren) with special educational needs.
Experience of delivering individual and group based support
