Family influences have a powerful impact on children’s attitudes, achievements and life outcomes. The role of the PSA is to assist in tackling underachievement by working in partnership with families in a school context to enable children and young people to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning and participation.
The PSA will work directly with families; empowering them and their children to get the most out of the educational opportunities available. The post holder will also work with children who need additional pastoral support.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Visits to school are very welcome by prior arrangement. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.

The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Application packs and further details are available from the school; tel: 01642 601890 or alternatively from the school website http://www.bowesfieldprimary.org.uk/
