This post is a new role in the Pensions Governance & Investments section of Finance, Governance and Support. The post is to support section's management team with their work for the Teesside Pension Fund. The post offers an excellent opportunity to gain substantial knowledge and experience in the governance and management of the Pension Fund, and a deep insight into the assets and financial transactions of the Fund.

The successful candidate's key responsibilities are to take the lead in producing a whole Fund budget, liaising with different parts of the Fund to gain insight into future activity levels, and assisting with the production of the Fund's year end accounts and the Annual Report. The successful candidate will also play a key role in section, assisting with the administration and accounting for asset and asset related transactions, including tax returns in the UK and overseas.

Prospective candidates should have a good background in finance and accountancy. We are looking for someone who has good communication skills, is organised and enthusiastic, and someone who will take hold of this new role and develop it.
