The Service
Northumberland County Council, on behalf of the North East Combined Authority, has an exciting vacancy to work as part of the North East Mental Health Trailblazer team; taking an innovative partnership approach to supporting people with mental health conditions into employment.

The key post of Performance and Finance Monitoring Officer will be responsible for receiving and processing data from partner organisations and maintaining a large Management Information System. The post will monitor programme performance indicators, producing reports and analysis to support effective performance management.

The successful candidate will have proven IT skills and experience of managing databases, with an excellent knowledge of Management Information and administrative systems. There will be a strong analytical capacity and ability to report information clearly and concisely. Excellent organisational and administrative skills will be demonstrated. Experience of working with European funding is desirable.

The post will be based at County Hall, Morpeth.

The post is part funded by the European Social Fund

The Role
To provide project performance and financial monitoring data and reports for internal and external reporting.
To carry out in-depth data analysis and output profiling to inform project management.
To be the single point of contact for the Management Information System, providing support to all team members.
To create, manage and monitor financial systems, processes and transactions in compliance with European Social Fund requirements.
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the project management team and a large delivery team (of 17 staff), including administrative support staff.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post
