An opportunity has arisen in the SEN and Engagement Service to appoint a Placement, Exclusion and Data Support Officer to work within the EOTAS Team.
This team is responsible for placements of children with EHC Plans, overseeing the exclusion processes for children within Stockton on Tees and provides Home and Hospital support for pupils unable to attend school.
The successful candidate will have strong and recent knowledge of The SEND Code of Practice 2015 and understand the legislation relating to placing children with Education, Health and Care Plans in school provision. You will also have knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance relating to children who are excluded from school.
You should have excellent communication skills, with an approachable manner and the ability to remain calm under challenging circumstances.
