Help deliver clean growth in the North East.

We're growing our Clean Energy Strategy team and looking for an experienced and proactive individual to drive clean energy policy, programmes and partnerships across the region, with a focus upon ports and offshore wind. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of clean energy in the North East, helping to create green jobs and attract investment into the region.

In this role, you will:
  • Support development of port and offshore wind strategy, including supporting delivering of associated programmes. 
  • Contribute to building relationships with national and regional stakeholders to shape ports and offshore wind investment.
  • Support the development and coordination of the new North East Ports Partnership and associated activity.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Is willing to grow their knowledge of clean energy, port development and offshore wind in the North East.
  • Has experience of building relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Is eager to bringing people together around common goals.
  • Is motivated to stimulate the growth of the North East clean energy economy, focusing upon offshore wind.
