We're growing our Clean Energy Strategy team and looking for an experienced and proactive individual to drive clean energy policy, programmes and partnerships across the region, with a focus upon ports and offshore wind. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of clean energy in the North East, helping to create green jobs and attract investment into the region.

In this role, you will:
  • Support leadership of on port and offshore wind strategy, including delivering of associated programmes.  
  • Work with national and regional stakeholders to shape and oversee ports and offshore wind investment.
  • Lead the development and coordination of the new North East Ports Partnership and associated activity.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Is passionate and knowledgeable about clean energy, port development and offshore wind.
  • Excels at leading the building of relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys bringing people together around a common goal.
  • Is motivated to stimulate the growth of the North East clean energy economy, focusing upon offshore wind.
