We're looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about regional transport delivery and motivated by the opportunity to help shape and deliver transport programmes that make a positive difference across the North East.
  • Can use excellent project and programme management skills to develop and deliver effective transport programmes.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys bringing people together around a common goal, and can build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into tangible outcomes.
In this role, you will:

  • Manage one or more strategic transport programmes across the region to support the delivery of the Corporate Plan and the ambitions of the North East Transport Plan.

So, if...

you can bring structure to complex activity, build strong relationships and use information and insight to keep transport programmes moving forward, we would love to hear from you.

We are proud to be an inclusive employer, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, communities and experiences. We support flexible working and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented including women, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people and those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
