Help make North East homes warmer, greener and cheaper to run.

As retrofit devolution progresses in the North East, we’re growing the Warm Homes team. We are looking for two experienced and proactive project managers to work with partners to enable delivery of large-scale retrofit projects across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team, and this role will be pivotal to supporting the North East MSA’s journey to devolution of retrofit funding and powers.

In this role, you will: 
 
  • Support the development and implementation of a new strategic delivery function for retrofit across the region, ensuring that the North East MSA can effectively deliver its retrofit ambitions.  
  • Manage projects to accelerate quality retrofit delivery across the North East.
  • Collaborate with key regional stakeholders to shape and drive retrofit programme delivery.

We’re looking for someone who: 
 
  • Is passionate and knowledgeable about tackling fuel poverty and improving housing through domestic retrofit programmes
  • Can use their excellent project management skills to enable delivery of effective, quality retrofit projects.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys bringing people together around a common goal.
