Further Information
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, motivated, and committed individual to join our team to implement new projects and service improvement schemes within our Neighbourhood Service. As a key member of the team, you will help to develop a project plan for the service, cover all aspects of project management support to drive improvements and new systems to help deliver the ambitions and priorities for the service.

This is a cross cutting corporate role working with Assistant Directors, Service Managers, and wider Council teams. You will have knowledge of the legislative framework and policy context relating to local government and knowledge of commissioning frameworks and developing business models. Previous experience working with transformation projects or service improvement programmes is essential along with the ability to support stakeholders across multiple disciplines with a proactive approach to their work.

Coordinating projects will be a key part of the role and the post holder should be confident taking the lead on project management activities, resolving issues (escalating where necessary) and focussing on the overall programme outcomes. You will develop and agree project briefs, business cases, project plans and be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects; ensuring completion to agreed cost, time, and quality criteria. You will be organised, able to interpret information, trends, and evidence to develop projects, strategies and improvements and a proven track record of project management and implementing change.
