3 Year Apprenticeship to commence mid-September 2021

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the public health team in South Tyneside Council, applying for an apprenticeship to develop your skills and knowledge through taught learning and on the job training. The Apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to achieve a formal degree qualification, and registration with the UK Public Health Register at a public health practitioner level.

The apprenticeship is 3 years, where you will be working on the Better Health at Work Award and Healthy Schools Programme within the team, working with local business and schools to promote the health and wellbeing of staff, children and young people. You will be supported by the existing staff within the team, along with a mentor, and lecturers within the university.

If you are interested in developing your public health career this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, and gain a qualification while being in a paid role.

Interested candidates are asked to complete the Expression of Interest form, and case study which are saved in “Supporting Documents” and return to jobs@southhtyneside.gov.uk by noon on Monday 16 August 2021.
