Sport and leisure would like to recruit Swimming Instructors for Hadrian Leisure centre in Wallsend, to deliver North Tyneside Councils Learn to Swim Programme.

Hadrian Leisure Centre opened its doors in July 2010 as the new and exciting leisure facility in Wallsend. The facility is a state of the art gym and pool with a 25 metre main pool, learner pool and a multi functional fitness suite. In addition there is a 3G outdoor pitch, multi functional sports hall, dance studio and a small hall for martial arts and various exercise classes.

The main duties are to deliver swimming instruction in accordance with the facilities Learn to Swim programme, in line with Swim England standards and industry best practice.

This will include promoting a positive image of NTC, encouraging participation, recording, maintaining registers, attending meetings and a commitment to on-going professional development.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent customer care skills, provide an efficient and friendly service, be able to work as part of a team and on their own.

The shifts are as follows

Monday 4.45pm - 6.45pm (2 hours)
Tuesday 3.45pm - 6.15pm (2.5 hours)
Wednesday 4.15pm - 6.15pm (2 hours)
Thursday 4.45pm - 6.45pm (2 hours)
