Have you got what it takes to lead an 'Outstanding' Service?

Shadon House is an 'Outstanding' CQC registered service and provides assessment and respite placements for up to 23 people, the majority of whom are living with a dementia. We are looking to appoint a Registered Manager for this service.

You will be responsible for the overall management and day to day running of the service, in accordance with service strategies, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with minimum care standards and associated CQC regulation and registration requirements. You will be required to ensure that all core elements of the service operate at an exemplary level and meet all organisational and legislative requirements. Experience of managing budgets and working within residential care is also essential.

You will provide excellent customer care levels and develop and maintain excellent working relationships from all stakeholders. You will also have knowledge and experience of supporting individuals with a dementia condition and ensure that you keep abreast of new dementia innovations and best practice in order to continually improve service provision and the lives of those using the service.

You must hold a minimum of Level 4 NVQ in Care Management or equivalent and the Registered Managers Award.

If successful, you will be required to complete the registration process with CQC
and you will have to apply for an enhanced Disclosure.
