Due to a recent restructure we now have the opportunity to recruit a Residential Support Worker to join the team at 22 Levick Court. The successful candidates will be adaptable to the ever changing social care environment, demonstrate their ability to think and act decisively, whilst meeting the service objectives. Candidates must be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and work in a person centred way, whilst providing both a respite and residential service for adults with learning disabilities with a wide range of care needs.
Key duties of the post will include:
• Providing the highest quality person centred care service
• Be able to direct and support other team members on a shift basis
• Be committed to a customer led service
• Have the ability to plan, assess, monitor and problem solve
• Ensure all administrative duties for the service are maintained as required
The successful candidate will be committed to the continuing development of Learning Disability Care services. It is desirable that applicants have experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities, the successful applicant will need to be committed to the Middlesborough Employee competency framework.
Applicants will be expected to participate in the agreed working rota which includes mornings, evenings and weekends, occasionally waking night shift cover may be required.
